A story of memories

Ellie Crawford Candle Company was founded by Elaine OBrien in the beautiful rolling countryside of The Boyne Valley in County Meath. Although Elaine has lived in County Meath for the past 20years she was born and raised in the stunning seaside village of Howth in County Dublin. Having experienced the exquiste range of scents in Howth, from the sea salt filled village air to the wild mountain flora along the breathtaking cliff walks, its easy to see how Ellie Crawford can combine that inspiration with the unique scents of the countryside; rolling green fields, hedgerows and fresh damp earth of the local bog. 

Growing up in Howth, Elaine's childhood was hugely influenced by her Dad's 2 sisters and her grandmother Ellie Crawford!! The weekends were spent in their bountiful garden surrounded by sweet pea, roses and all manor of sweet scents. 

It's the memories of these magical times that spurred Elaine on to launch Ellie Crawford Candle Company;

"Scent is magical, it's like music, it can instantly transport you to a wonderful memory. Memories are precious, they are what make us who we are. I want Ellie Crawford to remind our customers of wonderful times and people or help them create new memories that they treasure forever".
